Welcome to the Yellowstone County Extension Agriculture site! Here you will find helpful information about MSU Extensions' agricultural and natural resources programs and services. Look for upcoming training opportunities, workshops and events, as well as a variety of educational MontGuides/publications (available to download or purchase) and links to other MSU research based resources. The goal of this program is to provide education and resources that will aide Montana producers and landowners in increasing profits, reducing loss of crops and livestock, protecting our food supply and sustaining future natural resources.

MSU Extension - Yellowstone County would like to extend a big welcome to our new Agriculture Agent, Callie Cooley. Callie grew up on a farm and ranch east of Miles City on the Powder River.  She graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and minor in Agricultural Business. Before accepting the Agriculture Extension Agent position in Yellowstone County, she worked for American Simmental Association and Colorado Cattlemen's Association .  Still involved in her family's operation, Callie's experience and knowledge of cattle, corn/hay production, and range management are extensive.

We are excited to have Callie on board! Please come by to say Hi and introduce yourself!
