Teton County Shooting Sports

In Teton county, Cowboy Action Shooting is the only active shooting sports program available. The Cowboy Action Shooting group, The Sun River Rough Riders, will meet once each month from March through August. The first shoot will take place on March 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the range six miles west of Simms.

If you are interested in becoming certified as a 4-H Shooting Sports instructor in the rifle discipline, we are holding a training on March 12-13 in Fairfield. Please call the Teton County Extension Office for more information.

There are many other 4-H Shooting Sports disciplines available. However, at this time in Teton County, none are active.

If you are interested in Cowboy Action Shooting, or would like more information on starting one of the other disciplines, please contact Mark Major at the Teton County Extension Office.
