Park County 4-H is the youth development outreach component of Montana State University. Reaching 183 youth through traditional 4-H clubs and another 208 through in-school and afterschool enrichment activities, the programs helps prepare young people to become contributing, successful adults.
All project and activity work is centered around teaching one of five life skills as well as vocational skill. Combine this with our experential education model, "learn by doing," and you have the reason that youth join 4-H: because its fun! Who wouldn't want to experiment with rockets, cook new food items, program a Lego robot, raise an animal or sew a piece of clothing.
