The FSA Borrower Training Workshops are continuing education sessions on financial and production agriculture. The series of six on-day training sessions begin November 5, 2012 and run through December 10, 2012. The sessions cover record keeping, financial analyses, marketing, public policy issues (Farm Bill), estate planning, family business issues and crop and livestock production. You’re welcome join all of the sessions or any single sessions. Those joining all of the sessions pay $100 per family unit. A registration fee of $20 will be charged for anyone interested in attending a single session. This course also meets the requirements for production and financial management training for FSA loan recipients. In order to qualify for a certificate, all six sessions must be attended. |
