Lyle Hansen
University of Idaho Extension

Description:  In the course of a busy day, you may use your debit or credit card at the grocery store, charge tickets to a concert or ball game, rent a car, mail your tax returns, call home on your cell phone, or apply for a credit card.  Chances are you don’t give
these every day transactions a second thought.  But someone else may. The 1990’s spawned a new variety of crooks called identity thieves.  Their stock in trade: Your everyday transactions, which reveal bits of your personal information. Identity theft is a serious crime.  People whose identities have been stolen can spend months or years – and their hard earned money – cleaning up the mess thieves have made of their good name and credit record. This presentation will teach you proven techniques and
