Blaine County Fair
The 4-H portion of the Blaine County Fair is a premier event to showcase the many talents of our local 4-H members. Held annually on the week after the 4th of July, the fair features a variety of 4-H events along with non-4-H entertainment such as a PRCA Rodeo, carnival rides, Pig Wrestling, and much more. The 4-H events include Large and Small animal shows, animal and indoor exhibits, a Round Robin overall showmanship, and a Youth Livestock sale. 4-H members also participate in interview judging at the beginning of the fair week, where they not only have a chance to explain what they learned through the completion of their project, but they also have the chance to acquire and polish their interview skills. Following the interview process, exhibits are then displayed in the 4-H Building for the duration of the Fair for the public to view and enjoy.
The 2018 Blaine County Fair will be held on July 3rd-8th. All 4-H events will be held at the Blaine County Fairgrounds with the 4-H Horse Show kicking off the week, concluding with the Youth Livestock Sale (starting at Noon). While enjoying this years' events, come by and enjoy a meal or a slice of homemade pie at the 4-H Chuckwagon!!
